Lessons from Abroad (LFA) Chicago is hosting a happy hour on August 17th and you’re invited! We are looking to connect with our Chicago area colleagues as we return to in-person programming including our annual student returnee conference for 2023. 

We are looking to connect in-person with people who have supported our annual student returnee conference in the past but also meet new colleagues interested in volunteering or supporting future events. We plan to host a resume review this fall and return with our one-day conference in early 2023. 

As you may know, in 2019 LFA National decided to dissolve their 501c3 status. As a result our LFA Chicago leadership committee decided to form our own incorporated non-profit organization. This meant we could continue to host the annual conference independently, no longer supported by the national organization. We believe this is a valuable event for our Chicago area students and something we've all enjoyed being involved in over these last several years.
